There are moments when it feels like your effort is not working.

When you try…
 and nothing changes.

When you show up…
 and don’t see results.

But just because you cannot see progress…
does not mean progress is not happening.

The stone cutter, the power of persistence. Hello and welcome to sweet dreams. A few minutes before sleep to plant seeds of peace, courage, kindness, and greatness in your mind. Take a slow breath and gently exhale. Let the day go. Tonight we plant a new seed. Let me tell you a story. There was once a stone cutter who worked every day breaking large rocks into smaller pieces. One day he came across a massive stone. He lifted his hammer and he struck it. Nothing happened. He struck it again, still nothing. Again and again. Ten times, twenty times, fifty times. The rock did not move. No cracks, no change. It looked like nothing was happening. Most people will have stopped. They would have said, This isn't working. But the stone cutter kept going. He raised his hammer again and struck the stone. Then on the hundredth strike, the rock split in two. Now, think about this. Did the rock break on the hundredth strike? Or was it every strike before that that made the difference? The truth is, every single hit mattered. Even the ones that showed no visible result, even the ones that felt like failure. And your life is no different. There are moments when it feels like your effort is not working. When you try and nothing changes, when you show up and don't see results. But just because you cannot see progress does not mean progress is not happening. Every effort you make is shaping something beneath the surface. Every time you try again, you are getting closer. Every small action is building toward your breakthrough. Success is not always allowed. Sometimes it looks like quiet resistance, showing up again even when it's hard, trying again even when it feels slow, or believing again, even when doubt is present. So tonight, release the frustration, release the pressure to see immediate results. You are not wasting effort, you are building momentum, and one day what seems impossible now will break open. Quietly repeat these words in your mind. Every effort I make is building something. I am closer than I think. I will not give up on myself. Let those thoughts settle gently. No rushing, no forcing, just steady progress. Before you sleep tonight, remember you are growing. You are capable, and your life has meaning. Plant good thoughts tonight, and tomorrow they will grow. Sleep peacefully. This is sweet dreams. Good night.
